Miss Judy taught us how to make a pinch pot out of clay. First we took the clay and made it into a ball. We patted all the air out. Then we put our thumb in the middle of the ball and worked our other hand around the ball pinching and forming our pot. Once the pot was formed we painted it and carved designs into the clay. Miss Judy took our pots back with her to put them in the kiln. Did you know the temperature inside the kiln is 2000 degrees?
